Miley Cyrus Is Wearing Her Engagement Ring From Liam Hemsworth Weeks After They Reunite in Australia

Miley Cyrus wore one very special (and sparkly) accessory this weekend that caught everyone's attention: the stunning engagement ring she received from Liam Hemsworth back in 2012.

The singer posted a selfie on Instagram where the massive bling was front row and center, and was also seen wearing it while tending to moving trucks in Malibu near the Hunger Games star's abode.

"The ring is special because Miley and Liam worked on it together,"

"Miley specifically wanted it set in gold. She didn't want platinum. She liked the gold because it was different and unique, like her. She didn't want anything classic or generic."

Insider adds that the gorgeous piece of jewelry didn't exactly come as a shock to the former Disney darling.

"It wasn't something Liam surprised her with—they made the decision to get engaged and create the ring together. It was a major bond between them."

The two were first spotted back together in Australia in early January, where they attended the Falls Music Festival in Byron Bay, and a separate source dished to us at the time that they were most definitely back together.

"Miley came back to LA on Monday after spending the holidays with Liam. She had the time of her life being with him and his family," a pal close to the two shared.

"She feels like they could pick up right where they left off. Miley has never gotten over Liam and always hoped they would get back together. She doesn't know where it will go, but she definitely still loves him."
