Seven (7) ships arrive Lagos ports with petrol



Seven ships are waiting to discharge Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), otherwise known as petrol at the various oil terminals in Apapa and Tin-Can Island Ports in Lagos.

The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) stated this in its daily publication - `Shipping Position’, - a copy of which was made available to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Wednesday in Lagos.

The document stated that 35 ships laden with petroleum products, food items and other goods were expected to arrive the ports from Feb. 2, to Feb. 25.

NPA stated that the expected ships contained general cargoes, buck wheat, containers, soda ash, Rubber-Tyred Gantry (RTG) cranes, bulk salt, crude palm olein, soda ash, base oil and petrol.

According to NAN report,  15 other ships are at the ports discharging buck wheat, general cargoes, bulk salt, gypsum, bulk salt, bulk rice, bulk gypsum, containers, base oil, aviation fuel and petrol.
