Rivers State
Governor, Nyesom Wike, on Friday evening suspended the state’s Commissioner for
Finance, Dr. Fred Kpakol, and the Accountant General, Sir Abere Dagogo.
Wike, in a
statement issued by his Special Assistant on Electronic Media, Simeon Nwakaudu,
said the two officials’ suspension was with immediate effect, without giving
any reason for the action.
