Ekiti Lawmaker, Afolabi Akanni, who has been in detention at
the Department of State Services facilities, was released Tuesday evening. It
was reported that Akanni is now admitted at a private hospital in Abuja.
The
Lawmaker who was very weak and could barely speak when Vanguard visited him at
the hospital kept repeating; “I am not well. I am sick. I am sick,” when
Vanguard sought to speak with him.

adding that he was not told why he was held, Vanguard reports.
