Unconfirmed report has it that, he was attack by APC thugs. It was also reported that there was several attack in various house of other PDP supporters in Ogugu.

According to a Facebook post "The only offense of Hon. Linus Enenche that led to his marginalization, persecution and intimidation throughout his tenure in Kogi state house of assembly is that he refused to agree that 5 is greater than 16 which is mathematically and commonsensically impossible"
